How to Get There

  Hotel Stykkishólmur

Keflavík Airport is the only major international airport in Iceland servicing over 70 direct connections to Europe, the US and Canada starting June 2026. When you arrive at Keflavík International Airport, the most common way to get to Reykjavik without a car is by taking the Flybus, an airport shuttle that runs in connection with every incoming flight. After you collect your luggage and clear customs, you’ll find the Flybus stop just outside the terminal building. Buses generally depart about 35–45 minutes after a flight lands and take around 45-50 minutes to reach the BSÍ Bus Terminal in downtown Reykjavik. This service operates all year and even waits if flights are delayed, so you don’t need to worry about exact departure times.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online, where you can find additional information, or at the airport. Buses offer free Wi-Fi and luggage storage for a comfortable ride.  Flybus also runs from BSÍ to Keflavík making for a comfortable ride on your journey back.

Transport from Reykjavik to Stykkishólmur, the venue of the conference, will be arranged and available to conference attendees as a complimentary service. Departure from Reykjavik is scheduled in the afternoon of the 16th of November and additional transfer may be arranged as necessary when arrival times become clear.
